An unusual visitor

Today we had a visit from Echo the Bearded Dragon. Echo is owned by Emmett and came into class to visit us whilst the weather was still warm enough for him to be away from his heat lamp. We spent the morning researching about Bearded Dragons. We learnt that they can grow up to 60cm long. Like a Lizard they can lose their tail when attacked but unlike a Lizard, their tail will never grow back! We also learnt that Bearded Dragons can run up to 14km/h.
Emmett told us all about how he cares for Echo and how to tell if Echo is happy or stressed. He did a fantastic job of answering all our questions.
